About us

Who are we?

Professional boxing organisation India (PBOI) was launched in August 2014. Ever since then PBOI has been making its mark by hosting great boxing events on a regular and frequent basis – which is the key to building a fan base for the sport.

PBOI aims to provide a platform for Indian boxers to showcase their skills against professional fighters from around the world. At the same it intends to make boxing a self – sustaining sport in the long term enabling players to enjoy financial security, further giving them an impetus and self–confidence to do their best and bring home laurels and glory to the country.

What makes us a league apart.

PBOI is affiliated to the Asian Boxing Council and World Boxing Council and is actively promoting professional boxing in India at multiple levels.

Three of our pro boxers – Dilbagh Singh, Neeraj Goyat and Gaurav Bhidhuri had also gone for the Olympic qualifiers under the guardianship of this body.

Our association with international well known boxing promoters in China, Russia, Thailand, Brazil, Korea, France, USA & UK has led to an enriching international exposure for our boxers.

PBOI has been working to promote Indian boxing at the national, state and local level through grassroots cooperation with boxing clubs and associations and also by attracting broadcasters, sponsors and partners to invest in the sport.

PBOI owns many historical high profile bouts sanctioned by leading boxing organizations.

PBOI under the affiliation of AIBA conducted an Amateur professional boxing (APB) event at the GIP mall, Noida, in which Indian boxer Vikas yadav played for a place in the Olympic qualifiers.
